I'm definitely out of it. I don't think I've been getting much sleep these past couple of weeks. I didn't notice that my chair had been switched. I used to have a grey swivel chair, but now I've got one of these older green swivel chairs. It's much dirtier too I might add. Why didn't I notice? That's a very good question.
Why haven't I been getting a lot of sleep? Two words: Deus Ex. Argh! I knew I shouldn't have wanted to test out the new graphics card!

This is strange. For the past couple of days, the gas prices have stayed at 89.9 cents. I haven't seen it budge at all. Normally, I would notice some fluctuation in the price as I pass by the gas stations in the area (even between rival gas stations), but it's as they've all agreed that gas is going to be (just about but not quite) ninety cents a litre.

With gas prices so high, I've been trying to take it easy when I'm driving around. I don't zoom down the passing lane anymore, and I resist the urge to pass anyone who's going over the limit. If I had something showing me my current milage, I may have more incentive to conserve gas, but when everybody's zipping by you, it gets so hard not to want to blip the engine..

The flies are back. Crap, I thought that they got rid of them last month, but they're back!
It's BL's last day here so we're going to take him out to lunch. Upon deciding on which venue to eat at, HT asked,
"Why don't we go to that Frickin' Owl place?"

Frickin' Owl? Oh the Owl and Firkin! We had a good time with that frickin' suggestion.

Son of a motherless goat! What the heck's going on here? It looked fine in Firefox. It doesn't even matter which style sheet I'm using, the site still comes up black! This is really annoying..
Ah, I found the issue with Mozilla. I had the div elements set to zero opacity. I think it wasn't being used properly in Netscape 7 which is why I didn't notice it. (It might not be inherited properly in NS7.) Okay, I've turned it off and now it looks okay.

We took BL out to another restaurant for his farewell lunch. It's good to go out with that group every now and then. Very entertaining, but very time consuming as well. With work the way it is, I can't afford to spend so much time out eating lunch anymore.
I stayed at home playing "Deus Ex: Invisible War" all night, and was only pulled away to go to hockey when the power went down. (Speak of a rude message!)
The game wasn't that great. The beginning sucked, but we did a lot better in the end. Couldn't come back to win it though.
