[10:31 AM EDT - Maybe I shouldn't bother validating.]

Hmm, I came across a site that talks about e-mail validation. Apparently there is some sort of regular expression you can use, but it's six thousand characters long! (It's mentioned in here but I couldn't be bothered to look it up.)

[10:35 AM EDT - PHP Profiler.]

I came across a page talking about profiling a PHP page.

[12:17 PM EDT - Dropdown menu.]

Hmm. I might put up a link to display the dropdown menu instead of this nav bar. That would be an interesting thought.

[12:18 PM EDT - Going down?]

I'm headed off downtown now. Hopefully I'll be able to find the places where I'm supposed to go and hook up with the people I'm supposed to hook up with.

[6:05 PM EDT - Using KB's machine.]

Hey, I'm checking my mail from KB's machine. How nice of him! (I hope he's not logging my keystrokes.)

[10:36 PM EDT - Disc golfing dinner.]

Again, I was late showing up down in Centre Island for the afternoon of Disc Golf. The plan was to meet down at the docks at noon, but I knew that I wouldn't be able to drag myself out of bed, make a decent breakfast and make it downtown on time. Instead, I woke up late, didn't make a decent breakfast, and arrived just as a ferry was leaving. On top of that, I had written down two numbers for PRQ and CJF so that I could contact them when I got downtown to figure out what the heck was going on!

I was in a bit of a quandry since there was no way to contact either of them (I didn't even try to memorize the numbers and I didn't want to put the numbers in my phone lest the batteries die out - again).

Luckly enough for me, I was able to get a hold of LY and he told me that disc golf was still on despite the weather (it started to rain) so I got my ticket and headed to the island. When I got there, I couldn't get a hold of LY. Repeated attempts to contact him failed rather miserably. I wandered around the island for fifteen minutes before remembering that Pokey had given me her number as well! At least one person was listening for their ring..

I found out that I was at the wrong end of the island (I was heading towards the clothing optional beach) so I trudged across until I found something that looked like a basket. Closer inspection revealed that my initial analysis was correct, but the hole was ten, and they were at hole three.

I decided to work my way backwards so I went back to the tee, only to find a horde of players waving at me. I waved back. I then realized that they were waving me to get off the fairway. Oh yeah.. heh.

I continued on my trek backwards until I caught up with them. Or they caught up with me. Or we caught up with each other. In any case, we met up and I joined in for the rest of the game. It was pretty fun actually, and easy to get the hang of. (I didn't do all too well though.)

Afterward, we went to lunch/dinner and I ate so much food. People ordered too much, and I was compelled to help finish off the leftovers.

I walked with KB back to his place (the layout of which is exactly like Squishy's house!) and was able to access my e-mail so I could get CJF's number, and then proceeded to call CJF. Unfortunately, I had the same problem as I had with LY. Nobody picked up. Doubly unfortunate was the fact that I didn't have any backup numbers to call.

I decided to walk south on the off chance that they were deep downtown. I eventually got through (after fifteen minutes of trying) and found out that they were in Greek town. Doh!

I backtracked and headed to the restaurant that they were eating at and met up with them. There were a lot less people than I had anticipated. But the meal was good (I ordered baklava) and the girls were in stitches for most of the meal.

After dinner, we walked around for a bit and I led them to Riverdale park. Then it was homeward bound.
