[12:48 AM EDT - In pretty bad shape.]

Oh boy, I'm not looking forward to the climb. The hockey game left me in pretty bad shape and now I've got five hours of sleep ahead to try to mend all of these injuries. The stiff neck is particulary annoying. *twists neck*

Oh well, it's not like it's a race or anything..

Hey, OMok sent me a link to where ButtChunk was working.

[7:22 PM EDT - I'll need some rest.]

Well, I was able to drag my carcass out of bed this morning amazingly enough. Laz was a little late so that gave me some time to get ready. We met up with OMok once he arrived and then proceeded downtown. The DVP was closed this weekend, so we had to take the local streets, but it wasn't a problem since very few people are out and about at seven on a Saturday morning.

OMok had to drive a friend to Union Station so we stopped by her place (I forgot her name already!) and dropped her off on our way to the registration area.

I had never been this early to the CN Tower climb before so I was surprised as to how empty it was. Getting registered and stuff checked was very quick, and soon enough, we found ourselves at the base of the stairwell.

It was basically the same as previous years, but since I was feeling tired (and my neck was sore) from last night's antics, I took it relatively easy. I got up a little faster than I had expected. I was assuming to get around twenty minutes due to my condition but made it up in 18:24, about a minute more than last year.

I should keep track of these times. I'm curious as to how much I've slowed over the years.

As usual, I met people I knew while I was down there. One was a co-worker who's name I had forgotten, whom we met before going up, and after coming down, it was BMH and VC.

Afterward, we hung around the top and looked around before heading back down. We went back uptown to eat breakfast and then Laz and I went back to my place so that he could pick up his car.

I didn't do much today, although I'll need to go to bed early tonight. JW came by this afternoon after tutoring, so I gave him a chance to drive aruond in my GT-S. He did amazingly well. He got the touch pretty quickly and didn't stall all that often when starting from stop. I was impressed.

I'm in pain now, so I should take it easy.

[9:45 PM EDT - Early nap.]

I think it's time for me to go to bed. I've been coasting on inertia, but now I think it's a good time to call it a day.
