[2:12 AM EDT - Over two months..]

Good grief! Magnifica responded! I sent out the message over two months ago, and I had given up on getting any sort of response, but there it was! Craziness. Okay, I think I need sleep..

[12:36 PM EDT - Okay, time to catch up again..]

Right. I've missed out on a fair bit of writing, and I've got some cleaning up to do. Yikes! I wonder if the library's open today. I want to get rid of these books ASAP! (And get a hair cut, and pay my bills..)

[4:23 PM EDT - Closed.]

I got my hair cut, and then I went out to do some chores. Unfortunately, all of the places I wanted to visit were closed! The library was closed (I wanted to donate some books), the post office was closed (I wanted to buy stamps), the bank was closed (I wanted to deposit some coinage).

In hindsight, I should've remembered that today was a Sunday and those types of vendors wouldn't be open today.

Anyhoo, I at least was able to do some banking, and I got some stamps. I needed to pick some up for the patrol, so I took the change out of the slush fund (I don't know why I was lugging around all of this coinage since I really didn't use this money for anything). When I went to pay for the stamps, I found out (after apologizing for taking so long to count the coins) that I had exact change! All of the quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies added up to exactly a package of ten stamps!

"I do not see coincidence, I see providence."

Sorry, I had to throw that in there.

On the way back, I decided to try out some shifting without clutch (as opposed to power shifting). I really don't know what the definition of power shifting is, but I'll use the first term since it's more descriptive. It's actually quite easy on my GTS as the transmission's probably very worn in. (It's very smooth from 1-2 at 2200 rpm and 30 kph.)

[11:25 PM EDT - Where to put this stuff..]

I'm wondering where I can put some of this junk I've collected over the years? The books I can donate, but the BattleTech stuff I can't just give away. I'll have to find a place that will take it off my hands. Hmm..
