[Sunday, April 11, 2004: Hell boy, no way!]

Well, that was a farce. I got up late this morning because I was reading more "Berserk" the night before. Actually, I got up around three, which is pretty darned late for me (although I did get up around for on Friday.

The plan was to go downtown and to meet VC, BMH, and KW downtown to watch "Hellboy". I had decided to take the subway down as I wanted to save on gas and parking. On that note, I took the Corolla out for a spin. When I got out of the station downtow, I had two messages for me. Both were about the movie. Apparently, the 4:25 show was only for VIP, so they decided to go for the 4:00 show. Unfortunately, I got downtown at 4:25, which meant that I was already half an hour late for the show. I thought that I would figure out what to do once I got to the theatre, but the on-line map lied, and directed me to the Cumberland instead of the Varsity. Anyway, I ended up taking a tour around that area before I found the theatre I was looking for. I bumped into two pan handlers. (One was telling me that he was visiting the city with his girlfriend and needed money to get on the subway, so I gave him two tokens. The second was some kid so I gave him all my change - fifty cents.) I also got some banking done and found out where the firehall and old public library was. I couldn't get in contact with them to leave a message, so I decided to hang around Indego and do some reading until they came out of the theatre.

After I hooked up with them, we went out for (Indian) dinner, which was awfully good. Indian food is great! *gives thumbs up* Then we went to BMH and KW's place to watch the Leaf's game, and then bits of "Men in Black", "Back to the Future: Part III" and "Last Night" before heading home.
