[5:47 PM EDT - Tired.]

Man, I've been busy. I'm also really tired, so I think I'll take it easy for the next little while.

[9:07 PM EDT - Four endings?]

Nobody told me there were.. wait. Oh yeah, Laz told me that there were four endings during lunch.

I just finished Deus Ex 2 and gotten rid of it from my computer. The game was fairly interesting, and the lighting effects were very good (although a processing hog). The endings.. were all yucky. I didn't like any of them, in the sense that I didn't want things to end that way in any of those circumstances. But, given the possibilities, it makes you wonder what sort of choices you can make in situations like those?

I also watched "Ruronin Kenshin: Seisouhen" last night. (Instead of sleeping.) The animation is very good, but most of the story is very.. fragmented and brief. A lot of it was a summary of what happened in the Kyoto arc, the Tomoe arc, and the very beginning. But it did end the series even though there isn't much new stuff really.

Okay, I should finish off that entry from yesterday (I've been holding off on another entry for quite some time now due to time constraints - but I feel like I've forgotten most of it already) and then head to bed. (Early this time.)

[9:26 PM EDT - Ride for another heart.]

I got up early this morning. I had yet another strange dream, but my alarm, and my concentration on the tasks at hand meant that I had no brain cells left for memorizing what had transpired in my mind the night before.

I any case, I actually got up on time and got ready. The plan was for Derelict to pick up Laz, and then me, and then Werdna, before heading downtown to our secret (free) parking spot. Well, Derelict and Laz were a little late, but we were able to get the bikes on the truck and strapped down fairly well. I was surprised how tightly packed those bikes were with the help of some well placed bungie cords.

The trip down was fairly uneventful. I had hoped that we'd finish at a respectable time so that I could meet up with the ultimate folks and join in on their practice. Our start time was around 8:15 and we wanted to start more-or-less on time.

We arrived early, and met up with girl and Dangerman. Things were going well, but Werdna needed to register (the rest of us registered already), so I had some time to get a new shirt. It took me a while to find the pledge tables as I was in the wrong section of the building. But it was very painless as there was nobody around. I just handed the shirt to this girl and told her that it was too big for me. I asked for a medium, but she suggested that I try on a small. So I did, and it fit perfectly! I guess I'm a small guy?

I got back, expecting everyone to be angry at me for holding up the group, but Werdna and Laz were still not ready yet. We waited another ten minutes before they showed up. Apparently the registration line was uber-long and it took forever to get signed in! (Which is why I always check in early - I hate these last minute decisions! *shakes fist*) The delay cost us a good position in line. (The line was forming when we arrived, but by the time we got in line, we were near the end.) So instead of starting near 8:15, we started close to 9:00. Unless we finished in two hours, I didn't think I'd be able to join up for practice.

The weather was very good for biking. Overcast and cool, with no wind. Who could've asked for anything better? I was a little worried that Laz and I would outpace the rest, but since we had come as a group, I figured that we should bike more-or-less together. The one I was worried about the most was Derelict since he was telling me how slow he'll be on his bike, but I was amazed to see him keeping up with Laz and I! Well, me at least. Laz was like greased lightning once he got on his bike.

Werdna was the slowest of the bunch, so I stayed in the rear to egg him on and make sure he didn't lag behind all that much. (This also meant that I didn't bike as hard as I could've. It was much less tiring!)

We stopped more often than I wanted to. But this was partially because of a lack of comminucation methods, or just plain communication. I didn't get as much food as I wanted (the oranges were all gone by the time we got to a rest stop we actually stayed at since we were so slow - I did get one slice though).

We finished fairly late, but at least we finished. While we were sitting around eating our food, I got a whiff of that scent and looked around for the source. I couldn't find it though.

We decided to head back uptown for lunch, while girl and Dangerman went home. After a very slow and onerous drive back uptown, we dropped off the bikes at our respective houses and went for some Greek food. The food was good and hit the spot.

Then I came home, finishe Deus Ex 2, washed the bathtub, and took a shower.

After I finish these entries, I'm going to bed.
