[10:23 AM EDT - So it was in the wrong conf.]

Ahh, I figured out why my SSL requests were being logged. There's a ssl.conf file which controls the SSL logging, and it was writing the events to the same file! No wonder why I was so confused!

Anyway, it's been changed and my log files should be somewhat smaller from now on..

[2:19 PM EDT - Getting ready to roll out.]

Well, I should be leaving form my flight in a little while. Hopefully things will be okay. I've got a lot of stuff to do while I'm gone. Most of it has to do with Patrol stuff, but we'll see if I can scrounge something up while I'm out of the country. I'm bringing along some stuff to work on while I'm away. Hopefully I'll have time to finish it off so that I won't have any worries when I get back home.

[Saturday, June 12, 2004: Heading south.]

As I got on the plane, the stewerdress took my boarding stub and told me that I was in seat 7C which was on my right.

<- looks to the right.

A and B.

<- looks to the left.

C and D.

I must've had a strange look on my face as the stewerdress told me that my seat was seven chairs back from the front and on the right. I decided not to argue as I headed to my seat. I was lucky though, the flight was basically full, but I was able to find a seat with nobody else sitting in it. Ahh! the space! *reclines*

When the snacks were handed out, I glanced at the pretzel bag and thought I saw "Hangover" pretzels. I did a double take and looked a bit closer. I realized later that it was "Hanover". I think I need to have my eyes checked.

Oh man, we went through a cloud, and there was white light all around us. It was a cool sight. Mind you, it happened on the flight down to Seguin, so I didn't marvel at the sight for very long.

[Saturday, June 12, 2004: Internet torrents.]

When I arrived at the airport, I noticed how humid it was. It wasn't very hot and muggy, but the skies were overcast and it looked like it was going to rain (or had rained). The ground was dry though, so I thought I might get wet. When I arrived at the rental kiosk, I saw a flash of lightning and immediately heard a clap of thunder. However big the storm was, it was really close by. After getting my keys, I turned around to see that water was pouring out of the skies. Lightning continued to flash in the sky and the rain obscured all vision. I hadn't seen a storm like this in a long time!

I decided to wait it out, but after fifteen minutes, I figured that sitting around wasn't very productive. I waited until the rain eased off before rushing out to my car and jumping inside. It was completely fogged up, but after a bit of dehumidifying, I was ready to go. I had been quoted a price for a full sized car, but I didn't need the space, so I decided to opt for a cheaper vehicle to drive, so I asked for a compact. They gave me the keys to a Hyundai Elantra. The car itself was okay. It's underpowerd compared to what I'm used to, but then again, any compact will be. I found the inn without any problems, but when I asked the guy if there was any internet access, he told me that there was a jack in the phone. I asked him if it was a phone jack or an ethernet port, and he told me that it was an internet connection.

<- squints.

Sounds fishy. Indeed, when I got to my room, I confirmed the fact that it was a phone jack. I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow before I check my e-mail huh?
