[10:13 AM EDT - An e-mail explosion!]

Ever since I got added to the patrol list, my inbox has been flooded with mail. I'm trying to stem the tide, but it's like plugging a dyke with my thumb.

Anyway, I think I'll start funneling non-personal e-mail to my g-mail account. Then I can look at it at me leisure without worrying about my inbox exploding.

[Thursday, June 24, 2004: Getting rid of my Halo.]

I ended up playing Halo for the rest of the night and finally finished the game. It's pretty good, although repetitive and long in spots. Still, it's a fun game, and would've been an excellant cooperative type of game with some of the situations you find yourself in and vehicles at your disposal.

I definitely would like to try some sort of cooperative mission.

After I had finished the game, I went out to a surprise birthday party for SS. I normally wouldn't have gone because it was so far out of the way and so late at night (past 10:30 PM) but I needed to do some swapping and figured that I might as well come out for a bit.

It was a moderately sized crowed, half of whom were patrollers, and the other half were LR's friends. I didn't stick around for long.

"The opposite of the religious fanatic is not the fanatical atheist but the gentle cynic who cares not whether there is a god or not."
