Oh boy, I found out just recently that one of girl's coworkers went to UW and went to the CTRL-A shows! Apparently he recognized my voice from the times when I took over the mike to introduce the next show and/or thank the views for their time. Craziness.

I went down for ultimate practice and noticed how few people showed up today. Most were out at ultimate tournaments so I didn't expect a large turnout. I was at least able to get some practice in, which is always good.
Afterward, VC, Derelict, and I went out for lunch. The restaurant was quite near the parade route for the Gay Pride parade today, so I should've been prepared for a very busy restaurant. It was busy, but it wasn't so bad. It was just the fact that we were all tired and hungry that made waiting that much less bearable. Fortunately, the food arrived very quickly after we ordered, so my appetite was quickly satiated.
I had planned on going directly home, but the street was packed with people waiting for the parade. I decided to hang around for a little while to watch since I'm never downtown, I've never seen the parade, and I had some time to kill. I did wait for quite a while before the parade made it out to us, but it was quite entertaining. I'll just leave it at that.
I headed home before it ended as I realized that I was standing down there for two hours, got a hair cut, and now I'm here. I'll be doing some catchup before working,
Oh yeah, I got 98 in this year's puzzle championship's. Since the whole thing was out of three hundred something, I didn't do all that well, but it was still better than last year.

Ugh, I think I ate too much for lunch. I've been feeling bloated all day. In fact, I ate so much after practice, that I needed to steady myself as I left the restaurant. Part of the reason why I hung around to watch the parade was because I wasn't really able to move. It was much easier standing/squatting in the sun than it was to force my way down the stairs.
My pointer's been acting up again. I think one of the connections for the mouse knob on my keyboard is loose again. Instead of moving downwards like last time, the cursor has been moving in fairly random directions whenever I press the space bar. Hopefully this won't bother me that much..
I've found out that working at home for me was a definitely impossiblity. There are too many distractions for me here for me to be productive. By the time I finally got into the right "groove", I found out that it was already past ten. Yuck.
