When I was at the broomball BBQ Saturday, I was asked if some people could come by during one of my ultimate games and watch us play. They apparently have seen people playing ultimate in a park near them and was thinking I might be playing there too. I told them that our games were held all over the place and that we don't necessarily play at that field. In fact, we haven't played in that field in a long time, so I told them that chances are that they'd have to go to another field far away to watch.
Well, I got a message from RF that our next game was being held in that park! That just seemed like a very odd coincidence..

I went straight to the ultimate game right after work. Despite leaving at a semi-decent time, the traffic getting downtown was bad (although a lot better than the parking lot getting uptown) and I arrived not long before we started the game. Mind you, I usually arrive at half, so I was actually quite early.
I played a lot better than usual (thanks to all that practice) but I didn't play all that many points (about three) and that may have contributed to the amount of energy I put into the game. It was windy at the beginning of the game, but the wind died down and it started to rain as we got near half. By the time we were getting close to the end, the rain was coming down in torrents, and we decided to call it a match. We were up big time anyway, so it really didn't matter all that much.
I headed straight home afterward since it was raining really hard, everyone was soaked, and most people wanted to go home and get cleaned up. (I really wanted a warm shower.)
So I went home and installed "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King". (That was my first mistake.)
