[12:19 AM EDT - Compiling doesn't mean working.]

Well, I've run some test entries in my system and it seems to be working fairly well now. (After a lot of debugging.)

I've got more tests to run, but I think it's time for me to go and sleep..

[9:46 AM EDT - Get car checked.]

I'm going to get the car checked tonight, and probably go out for dinner as well. I hope I don't forget.

[3:01 PM EDT - Ready to wax?]

HT sent me a link to a car products page which has some wax type products that he swears is one of the world's best. He put it on his car and it looks good (and should last long) so I'll probably pick up some for myself. (The hard part is finding time to put it on.)

[8:28 PM EDT - News Bytes: Go for old?]

I was going through the links on the ShackNews and came across this article on why young guys should go after older women.

[8:35 PM EDT - Knock Ngoc.]

I went out to a client site today and ran some tests that went fairly well. I've got some changes to make, but the basics seem good.

During lunch, I was talking with KT and found out that he was my age. He asked me if I knew people at UW and started rambling off some names. I recognized a whole slew of them. Then, I found out which high school he went to and I started rambling off some names that he recognized. Holy crap! What a small world!

[8:38 PM EDT - Gas cap.]

I brought my car in to have it checked. To my astonishment, the engine light turned off on the way to the service centre so I sheepishly told the girl at the terminal what had happened. So they took the car, and I hung around for an hour and a half waiting to figure out what the heck happened.

Well, the answer was pretty simple: The sensors detected a gas pressure leak, and signaled the light to turn on. Apparently if you don't tighten your gas cap enough, it will allow gas vapour to escape, triggering the sensor. They tightened the cap and reran the diagnostics and everything was fine.

Well I'll be. Don't I feel a little silly?

[8:48 PM EDT - Busy at the wrong times.]

WTF? First MF and now DE? How come people are busy when I'm free and visa versa? I've been trying to rearrange my schedule so that I can fit meetings and food in and not have anything conflict with the things I've got going in my agenda already.

[8:59 PM EDT - Web Calendar.]

I was looking for something else and came across this Web Calendar. I'm tempted to install it because it uses PHP and looks more fully featured than my agenda thing, but it requires some sort of SQL database, which I don't have running on my system.
