[9:05 AM EDT - Get wet.]

Ugh. My lunch today leaked on me. I had it in my bag and a lot of the sauce that was in the container came out and got my papers and laptop wet. No real damage was done, but my notepad has a lot of dark spots now.

[9:11 AM EDT - So leave already.]

I was just reading up on an article on the Star and was wondering why I don't go on vacation. Oh yeah! For the same excuses listed in the article! Geez.

[9:15 AM EDT - A very small window.]

Ahh, I think my inbox is empty right now and the phone is not ringing off the hook, so I'll see how much I can write in the next little while. I've been getting some strange dreams, but I don't have the time to write it down in the morning and by mid-morning, they've already disappeared into the ether. It's unfortunate since I would like to go back and see what the heck I was dreaming about.

(More surprising was the fact that I was dreaming at all considering the amount of sleep I've been getting lately.)

[9:46 AM EDT - A bit of a stiff neck.]

Despite stretching my neck before the game last night, I still have a stiff neck this morning. I even forced myself into bed a little earlier than the past few days, although that was because of an annoying bug in the game rather than my own will power.

[11:44 AM EDT - Knight talk.]

Oh, one thing I forgot to mention about the game was that at one point in time, you find someone who you can't understand at all. The dialogue is all gibberish. Basically you have to keep asking questions until you figure out what language that person speaks, and then figure out what the words mean using gestures and the like. That was a very good part of the game. There should be more puzzles like that (although it could get annoying at times).

[11:50 AM EDT - I was only supposed to finish half of it..]

Oh man! It was LR's last day today and I completely forgot! We're going out for lunch but I had brought mine. I figured that I'll save it for later, but I got really hungry about an hour ago. After a few minutes of deliberations (with my stomach), I decided to eat about half of the lunch before we went out for food.

<- looks in container.

Empty. Dang! *shakes fist*

The funny thing is: I'm still hungry.

[Monday, July 19, 2004: Eat and eat and eat..]

I ended up polishing off the lunch that I brought from home, but interestingly enough, I was still hungry. So when the entire company (I think one or two stayed behind) went out for dim sum, I tagged along for the ride. There was a good amount of food, but it didn't seem excessive to me by a long shot. We jammed thirteen people at our table (most of the younger girls were with us) while the other table had about a dozen (most of the older folks). During the entire meal, someone or another would comment about my eating habits (especially after finishing off my "large" lunch) and offered me more food. How could I refuse? With ever bite, my legend (and gullet) continues to grow..

[Monday, July 19, 2004: Party before hockey.]

I was invited out to a birthday party so I decided to head out and check it out (since other people were going). I got there a little late, but there weren't all that many people around so I didn't think I was missing out on anything. Most of the people there were pretty old though (which is to be expected). I hung around and ate some food. A few people showed up who I recognized (including a bunch of co-workers).

There were some younger people who showed up later in the day and during one point, one girl came up to me and we chatted for a while. I can't believe I forgot her name already! She sort of reminds me of that landlord's daughter in "Spiderman 2". Anyhoo, I couldn't stay for very long as I had a hockey game to attend. So I took off not long before more younger people arrived. (Unfortunate, but hey..)

The hockey game was okay. I didn't play too poorly, but we couldn't get anything near in the net, and ended up with the second shutout in CAHL history and the lowest scoring game in CAHL history.

What made my day was DC's story of going downtown on one of those bike paths, taking a wrong turn, and ending up in Scarborough. I remember taking those routes before when I was a lot younger. Maybe I should go down them again?
