I'm so sore this morning. I also forgot my lunch. I have also been kicked out of my room (temporarily) and on top of that we can all smell something burning in our office.
It may have been serendipitous that I had forgotten my lunch, as I was given word that it was W's last day at work! As it was our usual custom, we all went out for lunch. This time we had even more people come out to lunch then when LR left. The company was basically shut down for lunch!
We ordered way too much food. I have no idea how we finished it all off, but we had three dishes left and everyone was full. Since I'm known for my eating abilities, the duty was thrust upon me to finish off the rest of the food. Fortunately, I was able to get JY and GL to match my intake, bowl for bowl, and we were done in no time! (I even had room for dessert!)
On the way out of the restaurant, TT jumped on W's back but she couldn't hold him. (W was on TT's back on the way in.) She exclaimed:
"I can't keep you up, you're too long!"
Of course she meant to say "tall", so we were howling at that Freudian slip.
Hockey on the other hand wasn't very good. I played up and had so many chances (you can't imagine how many shots I took that missed the net/hit the goalie) but never capitalized on any of them. I played so poorly, and had the last shot in the shootout and screwed that up too.
Ah well, there's always next time?
