[4:04 PM EST - Centering in six.]

Grr, I don't like the way IE centers stuff in version six. In fact, why the heck did they change centering? All the other browsers I've checked does it differently. How can I get it to work the same way in all browsers?

[Sunday, December 8, 2002: Ring Patrol.]

I didn't have anything planned for today except for hockey tonight, so I ended up doing some laundry and updating my books. I also went out to do some grocery shopping and develop some photos. I still have some web stuff to do, but apart from that (and maybe a lot of cleaning up) I should be in pretty good shape. That is if I have time tomorrow, which I doubt.

I should explain why. This evening, after making dinner (I forgot to get milk! Argh!), and putting my hockey gear into my bag, I realized that the ring that my grandma had given me was gone! I could've sworn that it was on my finger this afternoon, and I know I didn't take it off. At least I didn't recall taking it off. When we got the ring in Hong Kong, it barely came off, but it was much hotter down there, and with the colder temperatures down here, it can easilly slip off. (Doh!) So I spent fifteen minutes or so, searching frantically through the house looking for the ring with no luck. While I was searching (when I should already have left for hockey) I got a call. It was my patrol leader. Apparently they need someone to patroll tomorrow for the whole day! Wha..? Argh! How could I say no? It's so much easier saying no when you're not actually in a conversation with that person. *hangs head*

So the long and the short of it is, I won't be doing much tomorrow except for patrolling. Well, at least I didn't have any plans except to recuperate. *sighs*

Hey, I didn't know that one of the cable stations was suddenly doing Chinese television. I flipped channels and was surprised to see that all of the people were talking Cantonese (except for one girl who spoke Cantonish - she was cute too! ).

Oh yeah, the hockey game went well. I didn't play a spectacular game, but we won handily. It was kind of strange that I couldn't see the web site from China. I think it got blocked or something (the message was in Chinese so I couldn't read it) but here I have no problem. I also know that it gets filtered out by OC's work filter. I wonder why that's the case? (Because it has the word "adult" in it? Naw.)
