[11:31 AM CCT - Big bunny?]

I got some links to throw up so I can clear out my mail a bit. The first is from BMH for some sort of big bunny. I got two links from girl. The first one's to do about hunger I guess, and the other's to do with financial status.

[12:37 PM CCT - Dizzy.]

Ugh, I feel like I'm standing on a boat. The world keeps on moving. I've been getting enough sleep, so I'm not sure what the heck's going on, unless I still need more time to recover. Anyhoo, I'm going to take a rest right now.

Maybe sleeping on wooden planks had something to do with it?

[Monday, December 2, 2002: Liyuan garden.]

So it seems as if we're not going to Bejing. I'm heading back to Canada on the sixth and we don't have enough time to go up, look around and come back without dying of stress in the process. Ah well, I guess I'll have to do it on my own at some point in time. (Are you game MJO?)

With that settled, we decided to do some touring in the local vicinity. We went to Liyuan Garden and looked at the buildings and.. well, gardens. It was raining, so we counldn't hang around that long, but the place was nice even though we didn't see the entire site. One of the most interesting parts was when we went through one of the old wooden buildings which housed a whole slew of old farm equipment. My grandparents started speaking up on how they were used and what they were used for. (Since they used them in their younger days.)

Wow, so much has changed since then huh?

Afterward, we went to my granddad's place for lunch and went out shopping. Well, walking around I guess. In some parts of the city, the shops are much more modernized, with glass windows and shelves and whatnot. Compared with the mostly abandoned and relatively unchanged concrete caves near my grandma's place it seems kind of.. mismatched.

I was wearing one of my ripped jeans and got quite a number of stares form the general population. Well, I WAS told to bring some old clothes I didn't mind losing, and I don't mind losing a pair of jeans with a eight inch hole in the left leg.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that one of the buildings in Hong Kong had this big symbol on the side. It looked a lot like a big push button to me.
