Well, the day went fairly well, if a bit rushed.
I went out to lunch with LY and bumped into some girl who I played ultimate with this fall (I forgot her name).
You know, there have been fairly odd things that I came across in the past few days but I keep forgetting to write them down (or don't have the opportunity to) and so by the time I get here, they've all fallen out of my head! It's very annoying!
Anyhoo, my connection to the server died later this afternoon and I found it a little odd since.. well, the address looked fine. I didn't think anyone would've rebooted it or taken it down so I didn't think much of it until I got home. Apparently a certain dangerous person had disconnected the WAN cable! Argh! It was reattached shortly after and everything was back to normal. Whew! *wipes brow*
The plan for tonight was to try to do some Christmas shopping before I head to broomball. Well, I got out of the house a little later than I had planned, so I didn't have that much time to go shopping. I was looking for a store in the Town Centre and it took me forever! (Curse those hidden stores!) Because of that, I had to rush my purchases, but I did end up getting three of the many things on my list. *rubs hands gleefully*
Hmm, my wallet seems somewhat lighter though.
If I wasn't in so much of a rush, I would've talked to the girl that was handling one of my purchases since she was kind of cute. She was also giving me a really strange look too. Man, I was late for broomball already, I probably should've did a bit more digging.. *cough*
Oh yeah, and there was that guy in the other store who kept going on and on about games I should try out. (Since apparently I had heard about some very obscure but good games.)
Anyway, I got out of there as quickly as possible and made it to broomball late. *shrug* Not much I could do about it. I got to the ice and asked for the key to the lock. The moment I got the key, the other team scored. Whoops. As I was getting dressed, I realized that I had brought my shin pads by accident and forgot my helmet! Argh! In my haste, I completely blanked when I was figureing out what to bring. How silly of me. Fortunately, there's no compulsary helmet thing, although with the shots people were making, I tried my best not to stay in the line of fire.
When I got back to the ice, the other team scored again, and when I got on the ice, the team scored yet again. The score was 3-0 at that point and they threw me onto the losing team. Great, thanks.
The game was pretty good, although I played fairly poorly. We had tons of people out so there were many legs to weave through. Not my kind of game unfortunately.
We had a drink and snacks after the game and most of the players came out. (It was partially subsidized.) So we chatted it up, I took some pictures, and I stuffed myself with wings, nachos, and a couple of fries.

Or seven at least. I went to bed later than usual last night and so I had trouble getting up this morning. I had the "radio in my dreams" trick which fooled me into staying asleep for an extra half-hour.
Hmm, it's only Wednesday? Wow, it seems so much later in the week! Actually with all of the events shutting down for the holidays, it does seem like every day is a Friday.

Look at that! The "Back to the Future" trilogy is finally out on DVD! *rubs hands gleefully*
Badminton was fun, although there weren't too many people today. It was too bad being the last day and all, but I did get some exercise in.
Hmm, I think that's about it for exercise until next year, unless you include downhill skiing/snowboarding. (Ha!)

Argh! Internet Explorer keeps freezing on me. It used to freeze if I had a number of windows open, but now if freezes when I access a page! What's going on here?
