Well son of a gun. F-Prot was in fact correct. The VBS virus it found in the internet cache seemed to be the reason why all of my internet related applications were freezing on me. The errors I kept getting were access violation errors and similar stuff like that, so that should've rung a bell. Anyhoo, now that Internet Explorer and those other apps are functioning again, I can go back to getting caught up with stuff!

Oh, I forgot about the travel pen I also got. I also forgot to mention how I came to the conclusion that it was my cache that was killing my internet apps. I logged onto my system as someone else and found out that everything worked, so I realized that it had something to do with the user I was using, rather than the applications themselves. Therefore reinstalling the programs didn't neccessarily correct my problem, as it was user specific! Doh. I should've thought of that before.

Ooh! I've been playing around with the resolution on my system and I've got it pushed to 1600 by 1200. I thought things would be too small, but I'm playing around with large fonts now and everything's readable (so far). Unfortunately, things look a bit odd since the large fonts on high resolution don't look the same as small fonts at low resolution. Yeah, it looks kinda funny actually. *squints* Ah well, we'll see how my eyes handle this.

Ahh! I finally finished those old entries and I've filled out those.. er.. season's greeting cards. Now all I have to do is to send them out. Next on the list is cleaning up my room..

Hey, I finally tried out one of the VGA cables that Werdna gave to me and it seems to work! Sweet! I can hook up my laptop to my monitor now. (Or anything that has a VGA out.)
I've been cleaning out my room for a while now. It looks a lot better. I can actually walk to my door without having to step over anything! (It's also the reason why I found those VGA cables.)

Ahh.. it's nice to have some time off to do some much needed cleaning and updating. I didn't realize how far behind I've fallen with my system updates until I ran the update feature. Not like anyone would want to hack into my box.. wait. Someone already tried. Nevermind.
