Wow, it's the end of the year already. It's gone by so quickly too. Wow, I guess the years really start picking up once you get older. Scary no?
Okay, I've got to wax my skis sometime tonight. Hopefully I'll find the time. There's also a party I want to attend tomorrow. I'll probably need to get up early for that.

Yay. Another day, another virus. I've been getting viruses about once a week now, although I usually end up getting then from mostly unknown addresses. This is the first time the address is from someone I know. It's probably KLez, but how would I know? I didn't open it. *presses the D key*

Time for me to go to a party. I didn't do too much today. Went out to lunch with ET and was the last one to leave work, and I was still early! Scary..

I must admit, but I can't exactly remember when I got my digital camera. I think I got it on this day, but I'm not exactly sure. All I do remember is that I got it after the 27th, and before the new year. I noticed no mention of the camera in any of those entries, and since this is the only remaining entry that I haven't filled, it must be it. Man, I should work on my memory.
Anyway, girl gave me an early birthday present today. A digital camera! Whee! It can also take some fairly good quality video clips as well, although it sucks up a lot of memory. (A 16 MB flash card gets me about half a minute.)
The plan for tonight was to go to theMediaman's place to celebrate the new year. I was chosen to chauffer Laz and Tenshi to the event while girl and Dangerman went seperately. I was given directions to the house, but I forgot to print them out and by the time I remembered to, it was time to go. So I quickly read through the directions, got a general gist of the location of the house, and figured that I could get it printed at Laz's place. That should've rung warning bells, anytime one thinks that one will be able to do something critical later is usually disproven at the worst time.
When I arrived at Laz's place, I forgot to ask about the directions until we left. Laz felt confident that we would be able to find our way, since he's been to the house before and I had a general idea where the house was, so off we went. This confidence would eventually lead to our downfall.
I drove up to the point where my memory of the directions ended. It basically brought us to the right neighborhood, but at that point, I had to let Laz navigate. Unfortunately, being dark, it was hard to read street signs and recognize buildings. We drove around for several minutes, making a number of wrong turns before Laz exclaimed that he found the house. So, we parked the car, and walked towards the building. I was a little aprehensive since I didn't recognize any of the cars in the driveway or around the house. What tipped me off was not being able to see Dangerman's car anywhere around. Laz was quite confident however, and exclaimed that everything was familiar and it was all good, so he opened the door and thrust himself inside.
He quickly reappeared at the door and ushered us back. Apparently, he had walked in and some guy inside yelled at him,
"Dude! Wrong house!"
I had to chuckle at that. Eventually we gave in and tried phoning for help. Eventually we got into contact with Growly who gave us the address, and we were able to find the house before more precise directions could be given by a later call.
The party was okay. It wasn't that packed, which was good, and there was plenty of food, which was also good. Here's to the new year! *raises cup of orange juice*
