Yay! I finally got around to buying some hockey pants (and hockey socks) after work. I even got myself a copy of "24" so I can watch it whenever I have free time. That is.. never.
Anyway, I went to AMY's annual Christmas party thing, and I was a little disappointed that so few people showed up this year. But the regulars were there. It was pretty good catching up with people, although we ended fairly early. I think we're all getting old or something like that.

I got up early today so that I could make it to patrol for the early shift. Unfortunately (depending on how you want to look at it) I arrived late at the hill, but apparently, the really early shift doesn't start until next week so I didn't actually have to wake up an hour earlier! Doh!
The shift went by fairly quickly. JJ dropped by, and I was able to practice my skiing a fair bit. I still need to work on it however, I've got a lot of catching up to do.
After I got back home, I finally got to watch some of "24". It's pretty good actually, and I can imagine how tense people would've been each week after every episode. I've only gone through the first DVD, so I'll try to finish most of it off tomorrow.
Finally, there was hockey. It was pretty fun since we played a game of pickup. A lot of people were missing so we ended up playing four on four with two subs. We were also missing all of our alternate goalies so it was one goalie versus the jersey. I think the jersey won, but it was close.
