[11:19 AM EST - It's definitely a cold.]

Ugh, I got on the phone with a client and he commented that I sounded different. Then he asked if I had a cold. *hangs head*

I didn't get all that much sleep because of my dry throat and hacking cough. Guh, I wonder how I'm going to survive the trip to Montreal..

I went out for sushi last night with some high school folks and then had a little Kris Kringle thing. I ended up with gift certificates for Sport Chek! Yay! I can get those ski pants now! (Hmm, that's probably why nobody stole from me..)

[3:30 PM EST - Party chores.]

We had our Chirstmas office party thing today during lunch. I had originally planned to go out and finish some of my shopping during lunch today, but I forgot about the party. Oh well. I guess I'll be finishing my shopping later.

[Sunday, December 22, 2002: Heading out to Montreal.]

So we headed out to Montreal a little later than planned. I needed to do some last minute planning and schedule rearranging, as well as some last minute packing. We got on the road before eight, so at least we wouldn't have to arrive too late in the morning. The drive up was uneventful.. I took a little detour to by bypass any out of town traffic that might've clogged up the highway, and we made fairly good time, arriving in the city some time past midnight. Unfortunately, I had left the map of Montreal at home so I didn't have anything to guide me except for my (rather lousy) memory and an address, but fortunately, there were so many "turning zones" on the highways that I was able to find my way to the house (after missing the first exit, then the second exit, then the second exit again, and then the first street, then the second street, and then doubled back and missed the second street again, but found a way to go to the second street, and finally making it to the house).

Right.
