[1:18 PM EST - Links and stuff.]

While I was whittling away at these margins, I recieved some e-mail from a number of sources. One was from Growly informing me about his parteh this weekend. Tempting..

I also got a link from FlyingS after he read one of my sigs. I'll reproduce the quote below:

I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute -- where no Catholic prelate would tell the president (should he be Catholic) how to act, and no Protestant minister would tell his parishoners for whom to vote--where no church or church school is granted any public funds or political preference--and where no man is denied public office merely because his religion differs from the president who might appoint him or the people who might elect him.

- from John F. Kennedy's address to the Greater Houston Ministerial Association September 12, 1960.

Quite interesting, although FlyingS also sent this disclaimer:

Of course, Kennedy *was* a Democrat. And not all that popular in Texas, apparently. The anti-Bush, as it were.

Finally, girl sent me a (pretty bad) joke:

So, I heard that the Japanese recently shipped 50,000 cases of Viagra over to the U.S.A. Apparently they heard that the whole nation can't get an election.

Apart from that, I got a death threat from Squishy. That's about it!

I STILL don't see WHY you didn't go..

And I STILL don't know why you won't let me graft a laser cannon to your chest, to CRUSH those who would oppose you.
