We took weirDo out for lunch today. He had a craving for pizza so we went out to the local Pizza Hut and chomped on their lunchtime buffet special. A filling meal, and cheap to boot!
I've been doing some page checking and it seems like Jax has been busy with an update. I can't picture her being a brownie, but eating them on the other hand..
There's a link on ArsTechnica to some article about some sort of NASA invention that reduces the stress level in games. That's pretty cool. I think that might help a lot of people who have trouble keeping their cool when blowing things up..

REDUCE the stress? That's like cigarettes without nicotine, or Coke without caffeine! The thing that makes (action-oriented) videogaming so addictive is that it excites the player, causing their heartrate to go up (i.e. AvP or Counter-Strike).
In this sense, there are two types of games.. the relaxing, non-action type (think Civilization, HOMM and other non-time critical games) and the action type (everything else). There are times when I want to play a good turn-based game, and there are times when I feel like running around and shooting things.
However, that biofeedback looks cool, if a bit scary.

I'm inclined to agree. People who play FPS's aren't looking to relieve stress (although some people I know say that they do).

I thought MDK stood for Murder Death Kill!
Darn.. I thought you were gonna have a copy of MDK2 when you got back here, because I wanna play it!

Hmmm.. it IS "Max, Dr. Fluke Hawkins and Kurt"! The original game was truly awesome.. a highly innovative take on the 3rd-person shooter. The thing I remember best was the incredible graphics (leagues better than Tomb Raider which was all the rave at the time) and the HUGE areas.
Also, when you finished the game (after killing the boss by feeding him Max) you were treated to a cute full-length music video! I wish I had that in an mpg.
