I went to ultimate practise this afternoon with another team that PRQ found. There weren't many people that I knew there, but I bumped into one girl who was practising with another team. They joined up with our group for a scrimmage and one of the girls there mentioned that she recognized my name. I recognized the jersey and the name.
Interestingly enough, had I not looked at the rosters from that tournament, I wouldn't have come across the name and I wouldn't have looked it up and remembered who she was, so I probably wouldn't asked,
"Is your last name [last name].?"
Apparently I was correct and she was curious as to how I knew. So I told her about the two connections.
Well, the practise went well, and I think I found out why I was catching a lot better today. I think I've played with my sunglasses so often that I'm used to them than my normal glasses. Thus, when I'm using my regular glasses, the slight difference in the prescription and shape will alter my vision just enough to throw off my hand-eye coordination. Crappy!

The next thing on my list for cleaning up are my stacks of 3.5" floppy disks. There quite a bit of stuff here, although a lot of it is junk. But it will still take some to go through them all. Fortunately, once I'm done I'll probably only need to keep only a few disks. The rest I can leave here, freeing up more space and allowing me to transport less to my new condo.
