Whoa! Where did all the warm air go? Anyhoo, this blip of cold weather should be gone when the rains come tomorrow, but I still need to get my car washed before thing. It was a target of a passing flock of birds last night some time..

Good, I think I've got most of my other stuff done. The letter's been picked up, the cheque's been cashed, the money withdrawn, the car washed, and I'm ready to go and check the condo.

Well, I think I've gotten some things done and out of the way. I went down to the condo to hand in my second cheque and ask a few questions. Unfortunately, I didn't get that many answers, although I found out that the place will get registered this summer (supposedly).
Afterward, I went down to check out the ultimate game, which I wouldn't be able to play since I had to go to dinner afterward. I was a little surprised to see a couple of people but there were a lot of people there that I didn't recognize. Which is good I guess since meeting new people is always good right?
After that, I went out to the belated mother's day dinner. It was okay, and I was able to snag the bill before anyone else took it. (Mind you, I did say that I was paying for the meal.)

Wow, the living room and recreational room both sound so hollow now. With the floor replaced, sound echos so well and makes the place sound a lot more empty than it did before.

Oh, I forgot to mention a few things I found out about the condo. First of all, it should be registered sometime this summer. The occupancy fees will be equal to the maintenance fee plus tax, plus interest on the mortgage. Finally, the deal we got will basically be a one time deduction from the cost of the unit, with maintenance fees being paid on a regular basis, although the fees are guaranteed not to go up for those two years.
Furthermore, I should be contacted by the inspector in the next couple of weeks to go over the place and make sure that everything is okay. For example, cracks in the wall, scratches, water leaks, electrical problems, etc.
