I decided not to forgo badminton and head downtown for the drinks afterward. (I didn't know it was a bar until I mentioned coffee and was ridiculed.)
Badminton was okay. I took it easy but I still tweaked my knee a little bit. Fortunately I didn't have any serious games so I didn't have to push my legs, but I didn't feel like I was playing at a hundred percent.
After going home to show and change (and eat some food) I went down to the bar. I actually got there on time, but after looking around, realized that I had arrived before everyone else did. Apparently they were running a bit behind schedule, which meant that I probably could've gone to the restaurant. Ah well. There were about seven or so people who showed up, most of which were faces I recognized from ultimate. We had some birthday cake and I played some pool before I left.
