Argh! I had written something up for the past hour and it all disappeared because of a mistyped key? I don't even know what happened. I was looking away to check something and when I looked back, the entry was all gone! Argh!
Anyway, I went out to a client site today and met up with Laz and MF. There were some changes down there, but the IT department hadn't changed much.
I went home to try out Derelict's fix for Star Lancer. Something with the sound was screwing up the game, so I disabled the EAX and I had no problems with the simulator anymore, which meant that I could play the game! Yay!
I tried a few missions, and it was pretty entertaining. I have one major gripe though: There is no mouse support. You can play with the joystick or keyboard, but you couldn't use the mouse in the simulator even though you can use it in the rest of the program. This is very annoying. This makes the game that much harder because aiming with the keyboard can be difficult..
