[7:50 PM EDT - Still cleaning.]

Whoa, I'm sifting through the smaller bookshelf and came across a number of small sized magazines that I collected when I was younger: "Baseball Digest" from (nearly) twenty years back, with Roger Clemens chosen as player of the year. There were a couple "En Passant" and "Scholar's Mate" chess magazines to round out the pile.

[8:17 PM EDT - Don't touch the rails!]

I wonder why my dad chose today, when I'm trying to move things downstairs, to lacquer the railing. I guess so long as I don't need any support while I'm trudging up and down the stairs, I should be fine, but there's going to be a lot of traffic..

[8:19 PM EDT - Skule nite unlocked.]

I was going through my maps and came across two programmes for shows I went to a long time ago. One was for "2001: a space comedy", and the other was for "Unlocked". I skimmed through the first and noticed JY's mug on there. Hmm.. it doesn't look that much like him. In the second I recognized a name.. I think.

[9:53 PM EDT - More anarchy.]

I found a sheet of paper that I copied during my time when I was studying explosives. It reminds me of the time when I had a copy of the Anarchist Cookbook on my computer. (There's also an HTML version.) There's a whole bunch of stuff here as well, but I never found this book which was actually published and is considered "rare". (I think UW had a copy in the Porter Library.)

[Sunday, May 15, 2005: Hockey helmet.]

I went to hockey today and played very poorly. I just couldn't get a handle on the puck and my skating was atrocious.

Afterward, I went out to lunch with SS, LJ, CC and DB. Then SS, CC and I went to a motorcycle store to look at helmets. We spent two hours in there looking at and trying on some helmets as well as sitting on a few bikes. After some looking around, I think I found the CBR600RR to be the most comfortable of the sports cycles. Hmm..

I never did get a helmet, deferring the purchase to a time when I'll have figured out what I want. Mind you, chances are that I won't know what I'll get and I'll pick up a cheap helmet.
