So the plan was to go to hockey, check out the couch, buy a lock, and then clean up. Or something to that effect. We had changed our hockey time to a bit later, and it worked out fairly well. I was late or course, but it didn't really matter all that much. I told KC about the grocery store incident and she was shocked that I didn't say anything. When I told her that she was the only person who didn't hear me say anything, she was even MORE shocked. But that's okay, people ignore me all the time..
I went out to lunch with SS and LJ. Then I went home to shower and clean up. I started doing my laundry when I was called outside to help fix the table. My dad got some new (larger) screws and we were able to make them fit into the holes. The table's much more sturdy now, and I'm feeling much better about using it.
I then called up girl and picked her up from the mall before heading up to that La-Z-Boy store.
We sat in there for a couple hours on the couch that I liked. It's a really nice couch. It's still kind of expensive, but.. It's a nice couch.
We'll find out how it goes in 6-8 weeks..
Then I dropped girl off at her place. The elevators didn't seem to be working when we got there, and there were also some people moving in as well. The timing might have been coincidental, but we had to take the stairs.
I had some apple pie and ice cream before heading back home where I spent some time cleaning up the mats and vacuuming the car. It's a bit cleaner now, although I didn't work all that hard at getting rid of those salt stains.
Now I'm finishing up my laundry and I'll have to get packed for the trip tomorrow. Yay!
