We tried to get the setup to work today, but still couldn't get the machines to talk to each other, so I eventually gave up and went about getting ready to set up the system so that we could test remotely.
The trip back was fairly eventful. I ended up talking with this one guy going to Toronto for a seminar or training course of some sort. We had some crazy turbulence near the end, but we didn't fall from the sky. Apart from that, it was fairly uneventful, but it was nice to be in cooler weather.

There were a few things that I forgot to mention. When I was at the Memphis airport, I noticed that a number of signs were bilingual: English and Japanese. This came as a shock since usually the second language would be in French or Spanish. I guess they get a lot of Japanese tourists there? Secondly, on my way to the airport, I had to stop for food. So I stopped at the first restaurant I found, which ended up being a fancy restaurant! Whoops! Fortunately they had something that wasn't way too overpriced (a burger with guacamole). Oh, and did I mention the heat?
