[Monday, July 4, 2005: Conquest: Oakville.]

I got up early this morning to head out to hockey. We were missing a lot of players this week, which might explain why I played so well today.

Afterward, I went home and started figuring out what I needed to pick up. I went to buy some high efficiency detergent, and some other sundries from the local grocery store. One thing that I noticed when I got there was seeing the kosher aisle. I might go through there to see what's available at some point in time. Some high efficiency detergent was on sale, so I picked up a few boxes. While I was checking out, the Jewish lady behind me struck up a conversation by saying,

"That's a lot of detergent."

I had a nice discussion with her about detergents and the like, while the checkout girl was getting my stuff done. I ended up forgetting something (baking soda) so I ended up going into the same line. I'm pretty sure that she recognized me. (She was kinda cute though.)

I went to Derelict's place afterward (nearly getting lost along the way) to play some Civilization 3: Conquests. It was fun, except for the fact that we were playing at too high a level and got munched.
