[Monday, July 4, 2005: Another day for Canada.]

I got up late this morning. I ended up staying up late last night because the television was on. By the time I checked the clock, it was already three in the morning! I was late for lunch, but when I called up Windelynn, I was told that they were running late as well, so I took the time to go and take a shower before showing up for dim sum. I think I recognized just one person there out of the bunch, but they were all fairly friendly and we had good times chatting it up. After lunch, we headed out for some bubble tea and sat on a "patio" (which were just tables and chairs on the sidewalk) and relaxed for a bit. Afterward, I headed back home to do a bit of cleaning before heading out to the BBQ at KW's place.

Lunch was still sitting in my stomach when I had arrived, so I wasn't particularly hungry when I got there. That was too bad since there was a lot of food! The usual suspects showed up, but a lot of other people were there too who I didn't recognize. More teenagers showed up than usual, but they all took off after the food was done. So what was left were the adults, the little kids, and me.

Well, as usual, we had kids chasing me around and being scared off. So I eventually gave up and feigned sleep on the couch. That kept them entertained for another hour. JW asked me,

"Why do you always have this effect on kids?"

I dunno. Maybe it's the way I smell? *sniffs shirt*

In the end it we were left with just this one girl who wanted to play hide and seek with me. At one point she asked me,

"Do you live by yourself?"

What a strange question to ask! So she asked about what it looked like and stuff. I found it.. weird. Oh well. I left once everyone else went home.
