[1:09 PM EST - There goes sleep.]

I've been doing a bit of news reading and apart from the normal computer stuff at the ShackNews (like CPU price cuts for both Intel and AMD and obeying Moore's law for the next ten years) this article about making a crash proof computer caught my eye. It's an interesting idea, one that begs the question: "Why not uninstall Windows?" (For those of you who are wondering, it's a joke!)

Oh yeah, while I was trolling around on ZDNet, I came across this article about timed cache attacks. Quite interesting.

*grins*

It's an ancient Chinese secret! (Read: I don't know!)

To be honest, my script has always been fairly fast. (It's quick when you view the pages in UW.) It's just the university's slow connection that seemed to be increasing the upload times. So whatever they did, I'm glad they did it!
