[8:27 AM EST - Eighteen point one.]

Well, as this cold winter weather rolled over our city, the ambient temperature of my unit dropped significantly from the usual twenty something degrees down to eighteen. I do not actually turn on the heat in my unit. Instead, I leave the fan on, which pulls the ambient heat from the heating/cooling pipes and circulates it throughout my suite.

Eighteen degrees is not actually overly cold. Besides, I hate to waste energy when I do not need to. Partially for the environment, and partially for my wallet.

What do the rest of you folks have your thermostats set to in the winter time?

I used to keep it at 21 during the winter months, until my up neighbour complained and now it sits at 23-24. I too feel bad about having to turn up the heat, especially since the house is kind of drafty.
