[Wednesday, February 21, 2007: Like ships passing in the night.]

I foresee many busy days at work. We have basically doubled the number of employees at the office and trying to keep up with all this change can be a little chaotic. Ah well, at least having people means that we can start doing some things that we have been meaning to do for some time.

Badminton on Monday was okay. I did not push myself, and I probably will not for quite some time. My wrist was doing okay, but the only shots I was doing were drop shots. It is good practice, until they get wind of what I'm doing and sit at the net.

Broomball was okay. We had a smaller turnout than normal, so I ended up doing a lot more running than usual. I think my cardio has gone down hill in the past couple of months due to my lack of exercise, but I need to keep pushing if I want to stay in (a good) shape.

After the game, I skipped on filling up on gas (prices were high) and went straight to buying groceries. Bread was on sale (three loaves for five dollars - regular $2.59) so I stocked up on flax. I have no idea how I am going to finish it all before it goes bad. I think I will be eating a lot of bread for the next week..

Anyway, I bumped into one of the players at the supermarket. He saw me first, so I asked him if he shopped there often. Apparently he has been shopping here quite often after each game! What the hey? I go grocery shopping there every week and I never saw him around! It could be that timing thing: I usually rush in and rush out, but this week I dallied around for a bit.

Ah well, it was nearly as weird seeing Graduate and J at the gas station last time.
