[9:22 PM EST - Continuing the winter nights.]

Laz, MJO, Derelict and I were finally able to get some free time all at once to continue our adventure in Neverwinter Nights 2. We did pretty well, although Derelict had some technical issues and had to drop out of the campaign. The rest of us continued, completing all of the available side quests and even continuing the main quest for a little.

We spent all day playing, but it was not a complete waste. Since the game did not require complete attention, I was able to do my laundry and clean up the kitchen a bit. Now if I could only find myself a nice cordless headphone and microphone, I could probably stay in communication while doing my chores.

I also got my car insurance renewal. It's about two hundred bucks cheaper than last year. Not bad.

I still have e-mail to catch up on and a little bit of cleaning to do. My parents gave me a small vacuum cleaner that ran on batteries, but the thing is much too weak for the hardwood or the carpet. I went back to my regular sweeping/vacuuming ways.

Oh yes, I also missed a day.

[11:22 PM EST - Cheez Whiz ads..]

I noticed a couple of commercials on television that were basically reused from the eighties. One is an ad for Kellogg's Raisin Bran with the lumberjack and the other is the Cheez Whiz "adds personality" commercial. I wanted to talk about the second commercial because I remember watching it when I was a kid. There is a part where you see Cheez Whiz being applied to a stalk of celery. (Eww and eww.) The next scene has a very pretty red headed girl taking a bite out of a stalk of celery. They cut it out in this version of the commercial, but that girl went to my school.

I did not know her too well, but she sat behind me in physics in grade twelve. The only time I really talked to her was before a test, I think. I think she was worried about the test because she did not study for it. Since I never studied for tests, I stuck my hand out and told her, "welcome to the club!"

Instead of shaking my hand, like some normal people, or looking at me funny, like the rest of the normal people, she took my hand in both of hers, looked at me and smiled. Then she started talking but I was in so much shock that I could not remember a single word she said, nor anything afterward. I still aced the test though.
