[8:20 AM EST - Dream Sequence: What were the words?]

I started off with a group of other people, sitting on the edge of a natural alcove nestled in a small hill. The desert stretched out for quite some distance, so I was able to see a group of what seemed to be furry bipeds. A cross between a mangy tiger and a lanky human. I had originally mistook them for being a pack of animals until they got closer and stood up.

The first of the animals came up to our area, so I got up and started growling at the creature. After a few yells, the creature took the hint and retreated, only to gather up the remainder of it's pack and head back in our direction. I knew that I did not intimidate him, so we prepared for a battle. As they crested the rise to our alcove, I went on ahead to meet them. However, they did not attack, so I held off our side from striking and approached the lead creature. It raised it's left arm and placed it on my right shoulder. Then it raised it's right arm and pointed a finger right over my left eye and said something like "Kecha". The other creatures followed suit to the rest of our group.

After a few clumsy attempts, I was able to mimic their actions, and soon we were all greeting each other with this strange hand shake. By the time I got to the last creature, I had wandered onto a freeway and decided to head back down the road. As I walked down the large corridor (that seemed to be part of a mall), I had to duck out and went down the stairs.

My recollection is a little hazy here, but after a bit of searching I found myself realizing how momentous that first contact occasion was and needed to write the event down. I needed to find some paper, a writing utensil, and some place to write my thoughts, so I went back upstairs where I knew there was a school exam taking place. I looked into each room trying to find one that was open and came across one where PC was standing in front of. I guess he was proctoring an exam and thought that I was one of the students. I entered the room and found it empty. The desks however, had plenty of paper so I sat down at the first one and started the write. Unfortunately, the table had so many holes and grooves that the pen kept ripping through the paper.

[9:43 AM EST - Old aching bones.]

Our current hockey series is pitting the younger players against the older players. Let me just say that the younger players have a lot of speed! I skated like mad to keep up and now my neck is sore from all that sudden movement. Well, it also might have had something to do with the lack of stretching before the game. (This is what happens when you show up late.)
