Over the past couple of years, Wikipedia has slowly crawled up the rankings on Google searches. Anything type of subject that I might be looking up which has a Wikipedia entry will usually show up on the first page of hits, if not in the top three. With this much linkage and exposure, how does this bode for regular encyclopedias, or even Wikipedia itself? Heck, can Wikipedia become better than Britannica?
