I've disabled the feed loads by default. I find it rather annoying to load them up every time the page loads. I'll figure out something eventually. For now, you'll need to expand the link to show them.

Ugh, somehow a spambot was able to enter in a comment on this page. I caught it pretty quickly, but if this is a sign of things to come I think I'll need to tighten up the comment posting security..

Okay, I think I've cleaned up the quotes no to use an Ajax method for display. I took a closer look at the feed and it only gets updated once a day. In addition, they don't want anyone hitting the feed more than once an hour. So I've decided to pull the information from my site instead.
It seems to work, and there is no noticeable performance hit. Now all I need to do is to clean up the blog feed list and then I can finish cleaning the code.

I had planned to get a refund for the USB flash drive, but the store was closed earlier than usual tonight.
Anyway, there were potentially two New Year's parties that I could have attended. One at Windelynn's place and one at theMediaman's place. I was leaning towards Windelynn's party as they had a Nintendo Wii, and I knew more people there. However, Windelynn decided to watch a movie instead and so I fell back on the remaining party. I had invited BL out to the party (either one) since I was turned down twice (thrice?) before due to a "busy schedule".
Werdna and Laz both canceled on that party, and I did not recognize anyone else who RSVPed for the party, so I was pretty sure that I would spend most of my time talking with theMediaman or BL. So I was rather surprised to see Growly at the party. In fact, I was even more surprised to see that he had brought guests!
In any case, the party was okay. I had eaten already so I had no appetite, but we stayed until the end.
I think that's it for parties in the near future. theMediaman inquired about setting up a LAN party, but I'm pretty sure that I have to find time for that.
