[3:39 PM EST - Give up on spelling. Work on timing.]

Okay, I spent about an hour spell checking my old entries only to lose all the changes because I overwrote the wrong file!

This was quite annoying, and I realize now that nobody really looks at those old entries anyway, so what is the real point in sifting through all of that old text?

My next job is to apply the time stamps to the entries that I have time stamps for, and then use them to create a time driven storage method that is based on the time of entry rather than on the date that the entry was made for. Hopefully, I will also be able to move this data into a database, which should make data retrieval and searching a little easier.

Hopefully.

[Sunday, January 21, 2007: Where did everyone go?]

I spent most of the day on the computer working on matching my logs with my entries. It was quite annoying since the only way to match the entries was by the subject name. Since I had a tendency of editing the subject after I had entered the data without updating the log, I had quite a number of mismatched entries.

I did end up going to hockey though. I was a little surprised when I walked into the dressing room and counted our team with one hand. I thought that it was a joke, but we did indeed have only six skaters show up today. We did play pretty well despite the lack of manpower, and we were up most of the game, but we ended up losing in a shootout. Crap!
