[2:43 PM EST - So that is why I cannot do it.]

It seems like I will have some security issues if I try some cross-domain scripting. There seems to be a way around it, but it does not seem to be the best choice. (Nor does it always work.)

I think I will have to stick with my other non-XMLHttpRequest method then?

[4:30 PM EST - Arr!!]

I was having trouble converting some of this information to go through the javascript properly. One thing that was really bothering me was that one of the blog feeds would keep crashing out. Every time I took a look at the source, I did not notice anything out of the ordinary.

I had to take a closer look at the error and realized that it was because the line was not "terminated". That is, there were line feeds in the text that was breaking up the string declaration.

Wait, but I took into account line feeds (newlines technically) in my script. I got rid of them, so what..

Then it hit me: carriage returns! Arr..

[5:51 PM EST - Good enough for now.]

Okay, I have redone the blog aggregator to use Ajax to populate the feed information. I can make it nicer, but right now I am only passing in the feed link and nothing else so I am running a minimalist script.

I'll figure out what to do with it later, but at least it is there and it is easily expandable.

Next up, the resumé!

[5:59 PM EST - Smells like wings. (Let me eat cake!)]

We had wings for lunch yesterday. A hundred wings for six people is usually a good number, if everyone can pull their weight of 16.6 wings a person.

Not everyone was in the mood for two pounds of wings, and I was not touching any of the spicy ones (of which half were beyond my capsaicin threshold). In the end, I had to polish off about twenty one wings. Pretty normal, I guess. There were still some wings left over unfortunately. (They were too hot for me to handle or I would have finished them.) What a waste.

In addition, I still have chocolate cake in the fridge. In order to finish it off before it got dry and crusty, I had cake for breakfast, and cake for dinner. I still have half a cake left.
