I was kicking myself for not getting air miles points when I bought my new monitor.

[Friday, January 26, 2007: Burned tarts.]

Crap. I left the tarts in the oven too long. They smell nice, but the sugar has caramelized and now they're too hard to eat. But the pecan pies I made came out fairly well though!

I wanted to get some baking out of the way since I knew that I did not have enough time to make my pecan pies as well as the baklava. In fact, I think I will need another pan and some more walnuts for the baklava, but I can pick them up after work.
