[1:21 PM EST - Dream Sequence: Presentation.]

I imagined that I was out at some sort of resort, but I had to put together a presentation on how to use our software. I was mostly unprepared, and I didn't even think that I had to do any sort of work while I was out there, so I was frantically trying to get my slides ready for the talk. TT came out to check on me, asking if I had any hardware issues.

I didn't have any issues per se, but I certainly doubted my ability to present the information, and was doubly dubious at my ability to answer the inevitable questions after the presentation. As my preparation time slowly dwindled, I realized that I was on vacation. Why the heck was I working at all?

I woke up.

[1:23 PM EST - A few hours to work.]

Right, I'm up now, and I have a few hours before badminton to do some catch up work. I also got a package today. I'm thinking that it might be something I ordered on line. The site hinted that the material would not make it until the new year, but I'm pretty sure that I would be okay since the material I chose was in stock. (I had originally picked something that was out of stock and decided not to risk it.)

[Friday, December 22, 2006: She has a boyfriend.]

I made it to badminton at a good time, despite the traffic. I rarely travel uptown during the afternoon rush, so I do not get to experience the joys of getting stuck in serious traffic for more than that little stretch of highway that I take home.

In any case, I had a number of games, and had a good time. We held our Christmas party afterwards, and I took some pictures before stuffing myself full of food.

A few of us got together and went bowling after the meal. I did not do all that well, but I started to bowl using the spin method (I have been bowling straight all this time) and I think I've got the gist of it. I'll just need a bit more practice..
