I spent some more time playing Neverwinter Nights 2 since I was waiting for Laz and/or Derelict to become available to test out the multiplayer aspect of the game. Derelict was busy, so Laz and I went through the start of the game just to see what it was like.
If we did not have any voice communication, it would have been extremely hard to communicate. Game play was certainly slowed down with the extra people, and I could see how party focus could waver when there were more player characters in the game.
At least it worked, so we will be trying it out again next week.
As such, I ended up late for curling. I did ride my bike though, as the weather was fantastic for this time of the year.
We had a full team show up to the game, so my presence was not required. But the game became so lop sided that I felt extremely bad for the other team. Mind you, the game next to us had a score of 13-3, but 11-1 was still quite bad.
The team went out for food afterwards as two of the guys won't be in town next week. That means that we will be short a player. Joy.
