[9:44 AM EST - I am slowly going sleepy..]

So begins my three days of the week where I'm nearly catatonic. I'm not sure what else I can do to improve my sleeping situation though.

In other news, I got the new agreement form with the new energy company. We'll be switching over very soon. Apparently there is some sort of power limit that each residence has. Once you go over that limit, the hydro companies start charging more for the power you use. I like that idea, although if this is a fixed rate, then it would unfairly penalize larger residences would it not?

Oh, I also noticed on the notice board that the memo warning us for the need to access our suites had this note:

"Units will be accessed on either November 20th and November 21th(sic)."

Me fail English?

The funny thing is that the note that was left at my suite actually had the proper grammar.

[12:22 PM EST - Dream Sequence: Kids park.]

I had this dream over the weekend sometime so I have forgotten many of the details. I was in some sort of eastern European country where MJO was residing. I was visiting him and was trying to find a way to his house. The neighborhood looked like any other neighborhood. All the houses were small bungalows, and it all looked old, except for the community centre which looked brand new.

I decided to cut through the community centre to save time. When I entered the front, I found myself in some sort of foundry where kids were playing around with machinery that was handling molten metal. I did not feel safe at all, as these kids were small and could barely reach up to use the controls.

I quickly headed to the side of the room where the exit was and watched a small dog bound down the stairwell. It fell to the floor and scurried off into the inferno. I paid no heed and entered the next room.

The second room was a fairly spacious area, enclosed by glass and well lit. There were people milling about and tables and benches were set up throughout the room. I walked to the end to a sealed door, which I opened and stepped inside.

I found myself in a small pod with two small hatches. It looked like some sort of hyperbaric chamber, but the other door was not sealed shut so I opened it and squeezed through.

I entered a large swimming area, which was also enclosed by glass and seemed to be completely sealed off from the outside, save for the chamber than I had just gone through. The pool was full of people. Realizing that this was not the way out, I quickly back tracked and walked back into a large mezzanine.

I hunted for an exit and found a side door which I quickly slipped out from.

Finding MJO's place after that was pretty easy, although I ended up going around the block several times before finding his house. He made fun of my 1337 navigation skills.

[12:31 PM EST - There is nothing wrong with twirling.]

I tend to twirl my sticks. In broomball especially, I have picked up the habit of twirling my broom with my hand while I'm walking to the arena. This started long ago when I had to walk to the Columbia Ice Field, as I had nothing else to do and it was something to pass the time.

The brooms that they use in curling are about the same size and weight as the broomball sticks, so I started twirling them as well.

I was mentioning this after a game, and I got some strange looks from everybody.

"You twirl your broom? That is so gay."

Twirl, spin, what's the difference?

"Cheerleaders twirl their sticks."

*twirl*

*crack*

Twirl. Spin. I'm the guy with the big stick!

[2:44 PM EST - I'm going where in a hand basket?]

It seems highly likely that I might be going to Winnipeg.

[7:02 PM EST - Uhh, can I count?]

I was just taking a look at my Visa receipts and noticed that the receipt for dinner on Sunday was a tad bit too high. The bill came up to $11.25, and I gave a tip of $1.50, but total came out to $22.75! I must have been on crack when I wrote that down!

Mind you, that was on my copy of the receipt. Perhaps I wrote down the correct value on the merchant's copy?
