We're supposed to get a month's worth of rain today and that was the main reason why I didn't ride my bike to work. Ironically, there was not a drop falling from the sky when I went to get my braces readjusted and when I drove to work. If the fates were playing around with me, they'd hold up the rain during the afternoon rush and I'd be kicking myself for not riding.
I can't do much work right now since our servers are down due to heat issues. The rain had something to do with it. Our Internet connection was down until just now as well. Ah well, I'll see if I can catch up on other things while I have the time.

I usually do not have any problems with road rage and the like, so I was a little surprised when I tried to switch lanes on my way to work. My lane was an entry ramp and was ending, so I saw a gap between two cars, pulled my car up and signaled my intention to switch lanes. The car that was behind me in that lane sped up and immediately closed the gap.
I a little shocked and stared at the driver as she passed by. Incidentally, she was an Asian, and was driving a red Yaris. I think GWG would have fun with that one.
Ah well, I got in behind without incident.

I forgot my wrist guard at home yesterday so I had to take it easy at badminton. I didn't play very hard and certainly did not make many smashes. I should probably stretch it out a bit more today.
Oh, our servers are back up so I guess I should get back to work.

Oh guess what? I walked out of the office and it stopped raining. In fact, it didn't rain all the way home!
Now I have to go out and pick someone up. I haven't even had dinner yet. Joy.
