I really should be giving myself some more time for sleep but I've been reading a bit the past couple of nights. I was archiving some stuff and found a copy of 'Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind' lying around. I popped it in and watched a bit of it and remembered that the manga that it was based on apparently had much more to the storyline than what they could throw into the movie. So I looked it up.
I eventually found an available copy of the manga and started reading it, and I couldn't stop reading! The movie pretty much covers the first three books in the manga, but the series went on for another four books. As such, there were differences between the two. I found the story quite fascinating, especially considering the environmental undertones in the movie were much more prominent in the manga.
It was a good read. I would highly recommend it.

I was playing rather poorly at badminton today. I just could not seem to finish my hits! Even the easiest drops are missed. JW told me after the game that I must be tired since I usually don't miss so many birds. After I thought about it, I realized that he was probably right. I have not been sleeping all that much since I spent most of the night reading manga. The shock from this lack of sleep has probably dulled my reflexes. I'll need some time to recover, which means going to bed early.
