I was on my way back home after shopping and was stopped at the light near my place. We always get a left turn light for both directions so I always know those drivers who are not from the area just by seeing them creep forward when the perpendicular lights turn red.
This time I watched the car next to me creep forward when the lights turned red. When the left turn light came on, the car didn't stop. I watched in surprise as the car continued through the intersection on the red light. I'm pretty sure that the drivers turning left from the other direction were just as surprised. What shocked me was the fact that nobody honked their horn. I turned to look at the driver behind the red light runner and she looked at me. I shrugged and started driving when the light turned green.

I had quite a bit of extra filling left over from my pecan pies, so I picked up some tart shells from the grocery store and filled them with the sugary paste.
Even with the twelve tarts, I still had some filling left over. I ended up using it on my pasta, but that was more than enough sugar for me to last the rest of the week. Hopefully those tarts came out okay. I didn't look up any recipes for finding out how long those tarts were supposed to stay in the oven..

I went to bed late last night again. I had to do some baking after broomball so I ended up cooking and washing up as well. This kept me up until the wee hours of the morning, which didn't help my sleep situation all that much.
I don't foresee any more late nights ahead, so I'll try to take advantage of the lull and get some rest in. I'm barely able to stay awake as it is! If I had driven to work, I'm worried that I might have fallen asleep at the wheel!
At least the butter tarts came out well (although much too sugary for most people's tastes).

I'm slowly going through my links section and cleaning up some of these broken links. This will take a few days to do and clean up. I also have some catching up to do as well.
Mind you, I probably should go to bed soon.

I have been getting quite an inordinate amount of spam leaking through the filters these past couple of days. I'm not sure if these spammers have figured a hole in the system or not.
In any case, I need to finish cleaning up the kitchen, and then head to bed. Something I've eaten in the past couple of days is not agreeing with my stomach..
