[9:28 AM EST - Maybe I should have gone to sleep instead.]

I was testing out the co-op connection last night with Laz and things didn't seem to work. After working at it for an hour or so, we decided to call it a night. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the firewall, but I'll have to run other tests.

It's pretty quiet at the office. There's virtually nobody in right now. It's creepy!

[11:43 AM EST - Apparently we gained an hour..]

I missed something. Ah, I spent part of Sunday changing the clocks in my apartment. I didn't really notice the extra hour though. I'll have to figure out how to update the clocks in my bike and car again..

[12:30 PM EST - Remember the instructions.]

I tend to read instructions when I'm making food. This usually stems from the fact that I tend not to know what I'm doing when I'm preparing it. When I put my soup into the microwave to warm up, it wasn't until the soup started exploding when I remembered that I was supposed to cover the bowl with a lid.

Oops.

I spent the next ten minutes cleaning the microwave.

[Tuesday, October 31, 2006: Changed but not fixed.]

I had scheduled an oil change after work but I also had to bring a bunch of stuff back to my parent's place. The timing for all of this was going to be pretty tight (as usual) but I figured that I could handle it.

The plan was to drop stuff off at my parent's place, drop the car off at the dealership, get a ride back to the parent's place, have dinner with parents, get a ride back to dealership to pick up car, and then finally go to badminton.

Pretty straightforward right?

Well, I left work a little early and made it to my parent's place in good time. I then got stuck in traffic (there's always a traffic jam around the highway at this time) but still made it to the dealership right on time. I kept reminding the service guy about giving me a courtesy ride (I had scheduled it beforehand but wanted to remind him), and then I sat down to read a magazine.

Twenty minutes passed by.

I got up to see what was going on and apparently the shuttle car was far away. They then started working on my car, changing the oil and switching the tires and I was told it would take about half-an-hour to complete. There was no point in me leaving at that time so I decided to hang around instead.

So I ended up having dinner late, and then went to badminton late. I didn't play well either, but I didn't really care all that much. TN told me to follow her down and she drove FAST! I had to keep a good lookout for cops because it was way too fast! Ironically, we made a turn and she pulled up right behind a cop cruiser. We coasted at the speed limit after that.
