[9:35 AM EDT - No updates?]

That's strange. I haven't been doing any updates for a few days now. Mind you, there hasn't been all that much going on in the past few days either so it's not like I have much to talk about. Ah well, I still have some catching up to do.

[9:59 AM EDT - Change of format.]

I am still planning to transfer my journal data over into a database but I have not gotten the time (or energy) to start the transfer process. In addition, I am not sure what the best storage format is for my type of data. The way things are set up now makes it a little cumbersome to match individual comments with individual entries. Everything is matched to a date, and when there are multiple entries in a day, the comments may not quite make sense.

I'm thinking of redoing the journal to make it more standard and have entries entered only for the current date, which may result in larger posts, but are at least displayed in a chronological order. I'll have to think about it though, since I tend to go for long breaks without updates especially around busy times.

It would also make it more difficult to look back and see what happened on a certain day as the true information on that day will not have been entered on that day, but on another day a few or several days in the future. Argh!

[7:03 PM EDT - Getting hard core.]

With the weather turning colder, there are fewer and fewer riders on the streets and highways. But this doesn't mean that there aren't any at all. I usually pass by one or two riders on my way too and from work. These are the people who really like to ride, or have no choice but to ride.

On the way home, I was getting off the highway when I saw another rider pull up next to me and give me a thumbs up. I waved back.

Not too many riders left out there.

[7:05 PM EDT - Waiting..]

I heard some noises in the hallway this morning as I was getting ready to leave. As I got out, I saw one of the security guards and the property manager waiting in front of the door of one of my neighbors. I wasn't sure if I wanted to find out what was happening so I greeted them and went on my way..
