I knew I probably should not have gone out last night. But I needed to pay off R6_Chic so..
It was good though. I knew everyone who came out and Durka tried to wheelie my bike, but it was much too cold: the rear tire slipped too much. I was the only one who rode to the bubble tea place, and my bike got a heck of a lot of attention from the kids.
In addition, I arrived a little late, but was still the third person to arrive. Next time I think I'll show up even later..
It was fun though. The kids were doing a few obnoxious things, but entertaining obnoxious things. Bah, I'm too tired to retell, and I have people coming over in a few hours..

I was not expecting too many people to show up this afternoon as a lot of the people who said that they would make it were not available until the evening. In any case, Werdna showed up, then Laz, and then Squishy appeared with KB. Which was pretty much everyone. JW was in Kyoto, Windelynn was sick, Derelict and GWG were at a bonspiel, 2046-LM slept in and forgot about it, theMediaman was at a birthday party, Pokey was at a party, FlyingS was in Belleville, and BL was in London.
Ah well, it was all good though. Despite having only two bakers (since Werdna didn't want to bake, and Laz couldn't find any pumpkins), we were pretty busy in the kitchen. I can't imagine how chaotic it would've been with eight bakers! I think I'd have to put everyone on a timer, which would certainly turn this into an Iron Chef type competition!
I made a couple of maple pecan pies, while Squishy made some double chocolate brownie cookies (so good!). Laz bought a pumpkin pie, while Werdna brought tiramisu. I made some pasta and we were very full by the end of the evening. With so much food left over, I wanted to give it all away!
We looked at some scuba diving photos that Squishy and KB brought while we munched on our food, and they left so Laz spent the rest of the night getting Prey to work on my machine.
It took a few more days before I was able to get the apartment cleaned up.
